Finkel is professor of pediatrics at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM) and founder and medical director of the Child Abuse Research Education and Service (CARES) at RowanSOM. He has published numerous articles on child abuse and has been appointed by six governors of New Jersey to co-chair that state’s Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect—a position he currently holds.
