Sheri Nemerofsky, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician and neonatologist. She is currently an associate professor of pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY; a clinical neonatologist at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein; director of newborn services and pediatric clinical documentation integrity at Montefiore Medical Center; and director of newborn services Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, NY. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Coding and Nomenclature (COCN) as well as associate editor of the COCN Editorial Advisory Board. Her professional interests include coding and documentation, newborn safe sleep, prematurity, social determinants of health, and quality improvement.
