MAXIMUM AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDITS™ FOR COURSE: 14.50
Most families gather medical information online and through traditional news outlets. Misinformation abounds, making it important for pediatricians to share evidence-based content in these spaces. You will learn effective engagement strategies including best practices for social media platforms, content curation, storytelling, blog writing, podcasting, video creation, writing for print publications and participating in television interviews. We’ll also explore the use of digital media in advocacy work and share anticipatory guidance for families as they consider their own media habits.

Concurrent Breakout Session Selection
You can attend one concurrent breakout session in each time block. To allow more informal interaction with the faculty, attendance in each breakout session is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Camera Training Sessions
One-on-one camera training sessions will be held the morning of Friday, February 14, 2025. These 30-minute sessions will provide you with individual coaching in front of a camera and with tips and pointers for appearing in front of a camera for various situations. Space is limited and you will be able to indicate your interest in participating in a training session during the registration process. If interested, you will be assigned and notified of a specific time for your training session.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The AAP designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This activity is acceptable for a maximum of 14.50 AAP credits. These credits can be applied toward the AAP CME/CPD Award available to Fellows and Candidate Members of the AAP.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn up to 10.00 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.
