Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is a process that seeks to integrate the best research evidence with clinical expertise and patient values to optimize clinical outcomes for our patients. As the amount of medical knowledge rapidly grows, it is imperative for clinicians to gain and apply skills in EBM in an effort to efficiently and effectively utilize information in the care of their patients.
The goal of this course is to help physicians learn how to integrate evidence-based medicine into practice.
