ABP Approved Quality Improvement Project for Child Physical Abuse
The Midwest Regional Children's Advocacy Center, in partnership with the American Academy of Pediatric's COCAN, is now home the the newest American Board of Pediatrics approved Performance in Practice (Part 4) Module for Maintenance of Certification. The intent of the myQIportal PA project is to improve documentation & diagnostic accuracy of child physical abuse evaluations.

Stop, Look, Listen: Separating Fact from Fiction in Cases of Physical Child Abuse
SLL is an interactive teaching tool designed to increase clinician confidence in recognizing and reporting cases of physical child abuse and improving collaboration between the medical community and child welfare agencies. Funded by a grant from the NIH's Institute of Child Health and Development, the tool is targeted to primary care physicians.

• Opportunity to earn 8 hours of Category 1 CME credits. 10 MOC Part 2 credits are available through the AAP.

Child Abuse Medical Provider Program (CHAMP) Child Abuse Courses
Free courses include Child Abuse Reporting: The Basics, Adolescent Sexual Assault: Consent Issues, Fractures and Child Abuse, and Evaluating Child Sexual Abuse. Optional CME and MOC credit have a fee of $35 each. Registration is required.

FREE - Webinar Series on Human Trafficking
The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Stephanie V. Blank Center for Safe and Healthy Children and the Governor's Office for Children and Families is presenting a Web-based training series on human trafficking. It aims to educate professionals on sex trafficking of children and teens. The series includes six individual modules which will be presented via live webinars. Interested professionals may attend any of the webinars and do not need to complete all six. The modules do not need to be completed in order; however it is recommended that learners with limited knowledge of this topic complete the Introduction module prior to others in the series. All webinars are free!​

Wisconsin Child Abuse Network (WI CAN) Educational Series
The WI CAN Educational Series consists of statewide, web-based lectures on various topics related to child maltreatment delivered by subject matter experts.  The target audience consists of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, other allied health professionals, law enforcement officials, social workers and attorneys. The goal of the educational series is to improve the recognition of child maltreatment and management of cases when child maltreatment is a concern. Webinars are held on the third Friday of each month.
