The Benefits of Being a MidCaN Member

Strategic plans for MidCaN include resources to assist members in:

• Transitioning to a mid-career neonatologist, redefining goals
• Exploring leadership opportunities in academic medicine and private practice
• Engaging institutional leadership in the board room, on hospital committees, and/or as NICU medical director
• Advocating for policy change at the local, state, and/or national level
• Maturing educational and presentation skills
• Developing as a mentor, while also requiring guidance as a mentee
• Expanding negotiating skills and networking opportunities
