Login FAQ
AAP has simplified Login to your AAP account.
What do I need to know ?
- Login is the Primary Email address associated with the your account.
- Your Primary Email is where you receive AAP email.
- You can click the Reset Password link under the blue Login button on the Login page. You will receive a Reset Password email at your AAP Primary Email.
Who is impacted by this change?
- AAP Members' Primary Email and Password is synced to the new login system.
- Active users' Primary Email and Password is synced to the new login system. Active is defined as users with purchase activity in the last 2 years.
- Login will not work for any user who has not had purchase activity in the last 2 years. These accounts will not be synced. If your login does not work, contact Member & Customer Care for assistance with account activation.
Will I have to change how I login?
- Yes. Users of synced accounts will log in with their current AAP Primary Email and Password.
Will my Password change?
- No. Users of synced accounts will log in with their current AAP Primary Email and Password.
What if I don’t know my Primary Email?
- Your Primary Email is where you receive AAP emails.
- If you still have trouble logging in, contact Member & Customer Care for assistance.
Where can I manage and edit my Primary Email?
- If you know your Login > Log in and go to Profile > Contact Information > Email Addresses > Look for the Primary Email label.
- If you don't know your Login > Contact Member & Customer Care for assistance.
What if I don’t know my Password?
- We encourage you to try your usual Password.
- You can click the Reset Password link under the blue Login button on the Login page. You will quickly receive a Reset Password email at your AAP Primary Email.
- If you do not quickly receive the Password Reset email, check your Deleted, Junk, and Spam folders.
- If you still do not find the Password Reset email, you may have tried an incorrect Primary Email. Please try a different Primary Email.
- If you still have trouble with Reset Password, contact Member & Customer Care to verify your account information.
What if I don't receive my Reset Password email?
- Remember where you receive AAP emails. This is your Primary Email and where you will receive your Reset Password email.
- Check your email Deleted, Junk, and Spam folders.
- Check if you have an email rule set up to automatically filter AAP emails.
- If you still do not find the email, you may have tried an incorrect Primary Email. Please try a different Primary Email.
- If you still have trouble with Password Reset, contact Member & Customer Care to verify your account information.
I think I know my Primary Email and Password, but I am still having trouble logging in?
- Check your browser Autofill settings. It might be using an old Username and Password.
- Check your Password Manager settings. It might be using an old Username and Password.
- If you still have trouble logging in, contact Member & Customer Care for assistance.
Should I create a new account if I am having trouble logging in?
- No! This will cause more issues in the future with duplicate accounts.
