'Five Cs' for Navigating Social Media, Quality Improvement Collection, Plus a Special Say Ah – Ep. 200

Dr Megan A. Moreno, MD, MSEd, MPH, FAAP, is a Professor of Pediatrics and adjunct Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Moreno is Principal Investigator of the Social Media and Adolescent Health Research Team (SMAHRT); her research focuses on the intersection of technology and adolescent health. Dr. Moreno has authored more than 180 research articles, she was a lead author on the AAP policy statement “Media Use Among School-aged Children and Adolescents,” and she is the Co-Medical Director for the AAP’s Center of Excellence on Social Media and Youth Mental Health. 

Dr. Radesky is the David G. Dickinson Collegiate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan Medical School. She is Director of the Division of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics and focuses clinically on autism, neurodiversity, and advocacy. Her NIH-funded research examines the use of mobile and interactive technology by parents and young children, parent-child relationships, and child social-emotional development. She authored the AAP policy statements Media and Young Minds and Digital Advertising to Children and is a co-Medical Director of the SAMHSA-funded AAP Center of Excellence on Social Media and Youth Mental Health. 

Michelle Noelck, MD, FAAP, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Oregon Health and Science University and Pediatric Hospitalist at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.  Dr. Noelck serves as the pediatric clerkship director at OHSU, and the inpatient pediatrics medical director at Doernbecher. She is passionate about education, patient safety and quality improvement and currently sits on the AAP Pediatric Acute and Critical Care Quality Network steering committee.
