Dr. Maneesha Agarwal is an assistant professor in pediatrics and emergency medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and an attending physician in pediatric emergency medicine at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She is a funded injury prevention researcher, and her previous work encompasses multiple fields including poisoning prevention, child passenger safety, teen driving, firearm safety, consumer product safety, and adverse childhood experiences. Dr. Agarwal is active with the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Injury, Violence, and Poison Prevention (COIVPP) as the vice-chair for Georgia's COIVPP, the national membership & newsletter co-chair, facilitator for the Trainees for Child Injury Prevention program, and the COIVPP subject matter expert for the AAP Center of Excellence: Creating Healthy Digital Ecosystems for Children and Youth.
Sara Toomey, MD, MPhil, MPH, MSc

Sara Toomey, MD, MPhil, MPH, MSc, is the Senior Vice President, Chief Safety and Quality Officer at Boston Children’s Hospital, Director/PI of the federally funded Center of Excellence for Pediatric Quality Measurement (CEPQM), and Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. She oversees the safety and quality of the care provided and leads strategic safety and quality initiatives. She has been integral to the development of multiple nationally recognized pediatric quality measures, and her research aims to measure the quality of pediatric care, demonstrate the association between quality measures and healthcare outcomes, and develop interventions to improve outcomes.
