Michael A. Puente, Jr., MD, FAAP

Dr. Michael Puente is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the University of Colorado and Children's Hospital Colorado, where he serves as Director of Medical Student Education in Ophthalmology. Dr. Puente serves as President of the Colorado Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. He is a co-founder of the American Academy of Ophthalmology's LGBTQ+ Community, and he serves as Chair of the Advocacy Committee of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
