Allergy and Immunology Overview
Allergic and immunologic diseases encompass a range of disorders that include allergic rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergy, drug allergy, insect sting allergy and primary and secondary immunodeficiencies. Pediatricians can support children affected by these disorders with early recognition, referral to pediatric allergy and immunology specialists and educating families on management strategies.
