Instructor Candidates are required to enroll in the 8th edition Instructor Candidate Curriculum within 30 days following the approval of the application. They then have one year to complete the curriculum. No extensions will be granted.
-
Once someone who has an approved application enrolls in the Instructor Candidate Curriculum, they have one year to complete this curriculum and become an NRP Instructor. If their NRP Provider eCard expires during that year, their Provider status is extended to the end of that year. This is not a one year extension on their Provider eCard; the new expiration date will be one year from the date they enroll in the Instructor Candidate curriculum. If the Provider eCard expiration date is already after that one year period, the Provider eCard expiration date remains the same.
-
Applications are processed 1-2 business days after submission.
Please note, If you submit an application on a Friday, it will not be processed until the following week.
