The Improving Childhood Immunizations Phase 3 Project (ICHIP) collaborative engaged 14 practices representing urban, rural, and suburban areas across Florida and Texas to improve childhood vaccination rates. The project followed the vaccine schedule recommendations for children through 2 years of age, in accordance with the ACIP Recommendations. This IHI Breakthrough Series Model collaborative offered Learning Sessions and monthly webinars that included curriculum surrounding immunization related clinical content and quality improvement methods. Practices implemented what they learned and tested ways to improve immunization care.
